Islamabad (HRNW)- Pakistan has expressed concern over the evolving situation in Venezuela and emphasized the need for restraint and de-escalation to resolve the crisis.
In a statement, the Foreign Office said that Pakistan attaches great importance to the welfare of the Venezuelan people and stresses that calm and dialogue are essential to end the crisis.
The statement added that Pakistan considers adherence to the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law indispensable for the resolution of all disputes.
The Foreign Office further said that Pakistan is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela and remains in contact with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of the Pakistani community residing there.
