Karachi (HRNW)- Provincial Minister for Local Government Nasir Hussain Shah, while reacting to Minister Aleem Khan’s statement regarding new provinces, said that earlier MQM used to talk about provinces, now Aleem Khan is also talking about this.
Nasir Hussain Shah clarified that he would like to tell Aleem Khan that there is a difference between creating provinces and creating a society. He said that creating 12 provinces means 12 Chief Ministers, Cabinet and other administrative structures, which is not practically possible.
He said that the division of Sindh can never be done and those who talk about new provinces are just showing off. According to him, Pakistan does not have enough money to bear the expenses of new Chief Ministers and ministers after the establishment of new provinces.
Nasir Hussain Shah said that practical steps are needed to ensure the unity and development of Sindh instead of political rhetoric.
