Yangon (HRNW)– The Myanmar military carried out an airstrike on a hospital in the Rakhine state, killing 31 people.
According to international news agencies, rescue workers reported that the airstrike occurred late at night in Maruk U, a city in western Rakhine. In addition to the fatalities, 68 people were injured and are currently receiving treatment in the hospital, with concerns that the death toll could rise.
