Lahore (HRNW)– According to Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Athar Waheed, several government vehicles, including one belonging to an Additional Sessions Judge, were stopped for failing to pay e-challans. All vehicles were released only after the fines were cleared.
CTO Athar Waheed stated that the Additional Sessions Judge’s vehicle had 9 pending challans, which were settled with a total fine of PKR 4,300 before the vehicle was released. A section officer from the Home Department had 7 unpaid challans.

Additionally, a government bank vehicle was stopped over 10 pending challans, an LESCO vehicle over 14 challans, and vehicles of the Overseas Director and Cyber Crime Department were also seized. All vehicles were released after the respective fines were paid.
