MQM’s Taha Ahmed Khan Demands Immediate Implementation of Karachi Strategic Development Plan 2020

Karachi (HRNW)- MQM Pakistan Deputy Parliamentary Leader in Sindh Assembly Taha Ahmed Khan has written a letter to the Chief Minister Sindh demanding immediate implementation of the Karachi Strategic Development Plan 2020 (KSDP 2020).

In the letter, Taha Ahmed Khan said that the KSDP 2020 was approved in 2007 and gazetted in 2018, it is the basic document for the development of Karachi, and its non-implementation is tantamount to injustice to the citizens. He termed it a constitutional and administrative failure and termed it as serious administrative negligence and demanded the identification of those responsible.

He said that for the survival of Karachi, the implementation of the KSDP 2020 is mandatory and all the relevant institutions should work according to this plan. He also demanded the immediate withdrawal and cancellation of decisions and orders that conflict with the KSDP 2020.

In the letter, Taha Ahmed Khan has directed the Sindh Chief Minister to immediately issue a progress report on the implementation of KSDP 2020 with a clear timeline.
