Meteorological Department Predicts Ramadan Moon Likely on February 18, First Fast Expected February 19

Karachi (HRNW)- Muslims around the world are preparing to welcome Ramadan. A new prediction has emerged regarding the first fast in Pakistan. The month of Shaban is coming to an end and Muslims around the world, including Pakistan, are now preparing to welcome Ramadan, as well as anxious to know when the moon will be sighted and when the first fast will be.

When will the moon of Ramadan be sighted in Pakistan and when will the first fast be? In this regard, the Meteorological Department has issued its latest prediction regarding the moon.

According to the Meteorological Department, the month of Shaban is expected to be 29 days long in Pakistan. Thus, the moon of Ramadan is likely to be sighted on Wednesday, February 18, and the first fast will be on Thursday, February 19.

Moonrise time
According to the Meteorological Department, the moon of Ramadan will be sighted on February 17 at 5:15 PM. Its age and weather conditions appear suitable for sighting the next day, which increases the possibility of seeing the moon.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a strong possibility of sighted the Ramadan moon in different parts of Pakistan on February 18. On this basis, the first Ramadan is expected to be on February 19.

According to the Meteorological Department, the age of the moon in Karachi on February 18 will be about 26 hours. On the same day, the sunset time in Karachi will be 6:25 pm while the moon will set at 7:24 pm, which is considered a suitable period for sighting.
