Kampala – Uganda – (HRNW)– On 27 December, coalition LGBTQI+ organisations in Uganda publicly denounced intensifying human rights abuses against sexual orientation and gender identity minorities.
Advocates highlighted systematic targeting of activists, rising violence, and legal discrimination, arguing that shrinking civic space is undermining fundamental freedoms and safety for LGBTQI+ communities.
