Islamabad (HRNW)– Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated that his party has previously criticised the army but never crossed the red line, unlike PTI. He warned that excessive criticism of the army is actively weakening state institutions.
Asif criticized PTI leaders for not supporting anti-terrorism operations or attending funerals of security personnel. He further condemned interviews given by PTI leaders to Indian media, saying such actions worsen the situation faced by the country.
The Defence Minister also alleged that PTI runs social media campaigns and fails to condemn online abuse from its ranks, calling such behavior a threat to national security. He accused Imran Khan of adopting an all-or-nothing approach to power.
