During the last six months, the traffic police held continuous meetings with transporters, as a result of which the mandatory installation of trackers in commercial vehicles was ensured. According to the police, the process involved educating all stakeholders about traffic rules, surveillance systems and road safety measures, which helped in significantly reducing accidents.
Traffic police say the reduction in accidents in the city is a result of improved traffic management and strict enforcement of rules.
