Karachi (HRNW)- Rangers conducted an operation in the Liaquatabad Super Market area of Central Karachi based on intelligence information.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, three extortionists were arrested during the operation and handed over to the police for further legal action.
The spokesperson stated that the suspects used to collect around Rs 400,000 in extortion daily from shopkeepers and street vendors, threatening to kill those who refused to pay.
The Rangers spokesperson added that multiple FIRs have already been registered against the suspects in various police stations across the city.
