Karachi (HRNW)– Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho has taken immediate notice of the use of abusive language towards a citizen in a video that went viral on social media and ordered action against the concerned officer.
According to the police, DIB Incharge South Sub-Inspector Kamran Asher has been suspended with immediate effect, while he has also been directed to report to the headquarters.
The Additional IG has issued orders to DIG CIA for a complete inquiry into the incident and has directed to examine every aspect of the incident.
Javed Alam Odho says that the use of abusive language towards citizens will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He added that no one will be allowed to misbehave with the public and the conduct of the police force should be polite and professional at all times.
