Karachi (HRNW)- Under the orders of Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan, the police have carried out several successful anti-crime operations across the city.
During the past week, 21 encounters took place between police and robbers in Karachi, during which one robber was killed and 22 injured. In addition, a total of 30 suspects were arrested, from whose possession 31 different types of illegal weapons and 13 motorcycles were recovered.
The police have arrested a total of more than 691 suspects in the East, West and South zones of Karachi. During the ongoing campaign against drugs and police encounters, 108 kg 994 grams of hashish, ice/crystal and heroin worth lakhs of rupees were recovered from different areas.
More than 181 weapons along with ammunition stolen from citizens were also recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects. During further operations, 35 stolen and stolen motorcycles were also recovered from the police.
Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan has said that Karachi Police will continue to take all necessary steps to eliminate crime, restore law and order, and protect the public.
