Karachi (HRNW)- A police encounter near Metroville Bhawani Chali resulted in the death of one police officer and one criminal, while a civilian sustained critical injuries, Chhipa sources reported.
The deceased and injured were immediately transported to Abbasi Hospital via Chhipa ambulances.
The victims have been identified as:
- Wajid, son of Zahid, 27 years old – martyred police constable.
- Unknown male, approximately 40 years old – killed criminal.
- Khalid, 36 years old – critically injured civilian.
According to Chhipa sources, Wajid, a 30-year-old police constable from Site-A Police Station, lost his life while bravely confronting the criminals during the exchange of fire.
