Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) — Additional Inspector General of Police (Addl. IGP) Karachi, Azad Khan, paid an official visit to the DIG West Office today to evaluate law enforcement strategies and operational performance in the West Zone.
During the visit, DIG West Irfan Baloch provided a comprehensive briefing to the Karachi Police Chief regarding the nature of crime trends in the zone, overall departmental performance, and the status of ongoing targeted operations. The meeting was attended by District Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs), the SP Investigation, and other high-ranking officials.
Addl. IGP Azad Khan conducted a detailed review of the West Zone’s performance metrics. He issued specific directives to the officers, emphasizing the need for more effective and professional discharge of duties to ensure public safety. He also stressed the importance of modernizing investigative techniques to improve conviction rates in the zone.
