Karachi (HRNW) — The District City Police have launched a major operation against individuals violating the Temporary Residency Act.
According to sources, since September, 138 suspects have been arrested, and 45 cases have been registered across various police stations. The arrests were made in multiple areas of the city.

Authorities emphasized that both landlords and tenants found violating the Temporary Residency Act will face legal action. Public announcements were made periodically to raise awareness about the law.
The police urged citizens to submit their Temporary Residency Certificates or rental agreements to the relevant police stations promptly to avoid any legal complications.
