Jamshoro Police Enforce Heavy Traffic Ban on Highways

Jamshoro (HRNW) — Under the directives of SSP Jamshoro, Zafar Sadiq Chhanga, Jamshoro Police have intensified efforts to implement the Sindh High Court’s special orders by strictly regulating heavy traffic on highways.

Police teams, led by local SHOs, conducted checks at various locations across the district and stopped multiple heavy vehicles to ensure compliance with the court’s directives.

According to Jamshoro Police, these measures aim to ensure public safety, smooth traffic flow, and accident prevention, and the ban on all heavy vehicles will remain in effect until further judicial orders.

Key Points on Rules and Compliance:

  1. Entry of heavy vehicles on highways is completely prohibited until further judicial orders.
  2. Violating vehicles will be stopped immediately and legal action will be taken.
  3. Actions against violators include:
    • Seizure of the vehicle on the spot.
    • Filing cases against the owner or driver under relevant legal provisions.
    • Fines and extended vehicle suspension for repeated violations.
  4. All transporters are instructed to fully comply with the laws and ongoing directives.
  5. Police personnel will remain on duty 24/7 at checkpoints to prevent any attempts to violate the rules.
  6. Citizens are requested to cooperate with traffic police to maintain smooth traffic flow.

Jamshoro Police emphasized that public safety and adherence to judicial orders will be strictly enforced, and any violation will not be tolerated.
