Jamshoro District Apex Committee Reviews Law and Order; Orders Crackdown on Illegal SIMs and Forced Beggary

Jamshoro (HRNW)-An important meeting of the District Coordination Apex Committee, constituted under the National Action Plan, was held at the Darbar Hall of the DC Office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Ghazanfar Ali Qadri. The meeting reviewed in detail the overall law and order situation of the district, measures for crime prevention, and ongoing actions against illegal activities.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro received a briefing on the actions taken over the past month and the overall performance of the concerned departments. On this occasion, officers from provincial and federal institutions presented detailed reports, including operations carried out against illegal non-custom paid items and other significant measures.
The meeting was attended by Chief Administrator Auqaf Mukhtiar Abro, SSP Jamshoro Zafar Siddique Chhanga, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Babar Khan Nizamani, ADC-II Dr. Adnan Munir Tunio, Additional Deputy Director Social Welfare Ameer Ali Kolachi, along with representatives of the Pakistan Army, Rangers, Excise Department, law enforcement agencies, Revenue Department, FIA, Customs, Labour Department, HESCO, Women Development Department, Auqaf, Agriculture Department, and the Information Department, as well as officers of all relevant departments.
While addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ghazanfar Ali Qadri directed the concerned officers to take strict and indiscriminate action against the illegal use of mobile SIMs and the heinous practice of forcing underage children into begging. He emphasized that all institutions must work with mutual coordination and a well-integrated strategy to ensure the protection of life and property of the public and the maintenance of law and order.
The Deputy Commissioner further stated that meetings of the District Coordination Apex Committee would be held regularly twice every month. A detailed report on the committee’s performance and actions would be reviewed and forwarded to the provincial and federal apex committees to ensure the complete eradication of crime and the supremacy of law in District Jamshoro.
