Gaza (HRNW)- Israeli air strikes killed at least 32 Palestinians on Saturday in Gaza, including many children and women. According to the Palestinian Civil Defense Agency, the attacks violated the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
The death toll rose after a series of strikes since dawn, AFP reported. Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said residential buildings, tents, shelters, and a police station were targeted, causing a humanitarian catastrophe. A residential building in the Ramal area of Gaza City was completely destroyed, burying several people under the rubble. One family reported that three girls died in their sleep, with their bodies later found on the road.
At least seven people, including female police officers, were killed in an attack on a police station in the Sheikh Radwan area, where civilians were also present at the time.
