Islamabad (HRNW)- Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar while talking to the media said that eye specialists had examined the eyes of the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Adiala Jail, after which the medical experts recommended shifting him to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for minor medical procedures.
According to Attaullah Tarar, on the recommendation of medical experts, the founding chairman of PTI was taken to PIMS last Saturday night, where his eyes were examined in detail. He said that after the written consent of the founding chairman, a medical procedure lasting about 20 minutes was performed, after which he was shifted back to Adiala Jail with necessary medical instructions.
The Federal Minister for Information said that during the medical procedure, the founding chairman of PTI was completely healthy and his overall health was satisfactory. He clarified that all prisoners have access to medical facilities as per the laws, and the facility provided to the founding chairman was also in accordance with the jail rules.
Attaullah Tarar further said that the said medical procedure was done with the recommendation of experts and the consent of the founding chairman, and there was no irregularity in this regard. He also rejected the impression that there was any worrying situation regarding the founding chairman’s health.
