Islamabad (HRNW)– According to the Election Commission, the local body elections in Islamabad will be held on February 15, the Returning Officers will display public notices for nomination papers on December 19.
The papers will be submitted from December 22 to 27. The scrutiny of the papers will be done from December 30 to January 3, 2026, appeals can be filed from January 5 to 8, 2026, the tribunals will dispose of the appeals from January 9 to 13.
According to the Election Commission, the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is January 15, 2026, the final list of candidates will be displayed on January 16, and election symbols will be allotted on January 16.
