Tehran (HRNW)- The speaker of the Iranian parliament has warned the United States that if Iran is attacked, Israel, as well as American military and naval bases in the region, will be considered legitimate targets.
According to foreign media, the speaker of the Iranian parliament said that Iran has the full right to defend its sovereignty and national security and that any aggression will be met with a full and decisive response. He said that the United States and its allies should be aware of the consequences of any adventure.
The Iranian speaker added that the United States is responsible for the tension in the region and if the situation worsens, its effects will be felt throughout the Middle East. He stressed that Iran does not want war, but will not hesitate to use its defensive capabilities.
After this statement, further concern is being seen at the international level in the context of the ongoing tension in the region.
