Tehran (HRNW)- The Iranian parliament has formally declared the armies of European Union countries as terrorist groups.
According to foreign media, this move was made in response to the European Union’s designation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization. During the parliamentary session, members wore green military uniforms to show solidarity with the Revolutionary Guard Corps and chanted slogans against the United States, Israel, and Europe.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf condemned the EU decision as irresponsible and stated that under Article 7 of Iran’s counter-terrorism law, the armies of European countries will now be considered terrorist groups.
