Iran Anti-Government Protests Turn Deadly Amid Economic Crisis

Lordagan (HRNW)- Anti-government protests against the state of emergency in the southwestern city of Lordagan have turned violent, leaving at least two protesters dead in clashes with security forces, according to the International News Agency.

The Interior Ministry reported that protesters pelted stones at the governor’s office, mosque, town hall, and banks, prompting police to respond with tear gas and air strikes. More than 10 protesters have been seriously injured, with two in critical condition, and over 50 individuals have been detained. Additionally, a 21-year-old member of the Basij volunteer force was also killed in Lorestan province.

The protests, which began in Tehran over high inflation, rising food, medicine, and energy prices, have now spread to multiple cities, fueled by public anger over economic hardship, unemployment, and declining purchasing power.

  1. Listing a property for money works best when you keep it simple. First, get a price range using recent sales. Next, pick your priority: highest price. If you want as-is, investors may buy in any condition. Make it easier by doing basic cleanup and gathering paperwork like occupancy. Staying transparent about updates can avoid surprises. With the right setup, you can close smoothly.
