Islamabad (HRNW)- Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that providing security to Chinese citizens and projects is the top priority.
Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zhidong visited the Ministry of Interior and met Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. On this occasion, counter-terrorism and internal security were discussed in detail and it was agreed to increase intelligence sharing and cybercrime cooperation while reiterating the commitment to further strengthen the Pak-China strategic partnership.
The Chinese Ambassador strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Balochistan and expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the affected families. Jiang Zhidong said that China condemns all forms of terrorism and stands with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Chinese Ambassador about the timely and effective operations of the security forces in Balochistan and said that the terrorism in Balochistan was carried out under a well-planned plan, however, the security forces responded in a timely and effective manner.
The Interior Minister briefed the guest on the measures taken to protect Chinese citizens and projects and said that the security of Chinese citizens and projects is the top priority. Nothing can harm the Pak-China friendship. Modern Chinese technology will prove helpful in counter-terrorism.
