ALIPUR (HRNW)- In the Bet Mir Hazar Khan area of Alipur, Muzaffargarh, an influential landlord, accompanied by his accomplices, allegedly abducted a married woman in the presence of her brothers and subjected her to sexual assault. According to the police, the incident occurred under the cover of darkness, spreading fear and panic throughout the locality.
Police officials stated that the suspects—identified as Ejaz, Muhammad Khalil, and Ghulam Mujtaba—forcibly entered the home of Safia Bibi. They allegedly kidnapped the woman in front of her brothers and moved her to their outhouse (dera). Police further reported that at the location, the primary suspect, Ejaz Hussain, allegedly forced the woman to consume alcohol before and sexually assaulted her.
SHO Imran Afzal confirmed that a case has been formally registered and the central suspect, Ejaz Hussain, has been taken into custody. Raids are currently being conducted to apprehend the remaining accomplices, and a thorough investigation is underway.
The police maintained that the victim is being provided with legal and medical assistance, asserting that all individuals involved in the crime will be brought to justice.
