Islamabad (HRNW)– Indonesian President Prabowo Soe Bayan has arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Indonesia.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed the distinguished guest upon his arrival at Nur Khan Air Base. On this occasion, the Indonesian President was given a 21-gun salute while the national anthems of both countries were also played.

During the official visit, President Prabowo Soe Bayan will hold important meetings with the political and military leadership of Pakistan, in which discussions will be held on enhancing mutual cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, defense cooperation, health, information technology, climate change, education and cultural exchanges.
According to sources, several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are also expected to be signed during this visit, which will further strengthen the relations between the two countries.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had formally invited the Indonesian President to visit Pakistan, which he accepted and made the visit.
