According to reports, IndiGo airline operates about 2300 flights daily with 400 aircraft, however, due to pilot shortage and scheduling issues, a large number of flights have been temporarily suspended.

Foreign news agencies have reported that in order to make air travel safer, Indian civil aviation authorities have also imposed new restrictions on the working hours of pilots, which are being applied to the operations of airlines immediately.

Aviation experts say that if IndiGo management does not make immediate reforms, this crisis could be prolonged, putting further pressure on India’s aviation system.
