Raipur (HRNW)– In a shocking incident in Bandatola village, Kawardha district, Chhattisgarh, a father, Jahl Patel, brutally murdered a woman living with his son, reportedly over anger at their live-in relationship.
Police report that on November 7, Jahl Patel sent his son out of the house on a pretext, then forcibly administered poisonous medicine to the woman, Kamini Nishad, killed her, and disposed of her body in a septic tank, covering it with cement.
The accused, who was also reportedly angered by the woman belonging to a different community, initially misled authorities by filing a missing person report for Kamini. After repeated questioning, he confessed to the crime.
Kamini and Bhojram Patel, the son, had previously worked together in Hyderabad and had returned to the village intending to marry, but the woman’s different caste reportedly caused family tensions.
