Hyderabad (HRNW)– Father defeated son in the Panchayat elections in the Indian city of Hyderabad.
According to international media reports, a man won a landslide victory against his own son in the Gram Panchayat Sarpanch elections in Hyderabad.
The Panchayat elections were held in Jhansi Lingapur, Ramaimpet area of ââMedak district, where Ramakishtiya, who had won the Sarpanch elections twice, was pitted against his son Venkatesh.
Both ran a strong election campaign, however, voters expressed confidence in their father Ramakishtiya and made him successful with a majority of 99 votes.
