In his social media message, the Vice President said that the court decision is a clear and simple violation of the law and will make it more difficult for the President to ensure the protection of American industries and supply chains.<\/p>\n<p>He added that President Donald Trump also has other powers to impose tariffs and he will use these powers to protect the rights of American workers and advance the administration&#8217;s trade priorities.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that the US Supreme Court had declared President Trump&#8217;s tariff measures null and void, on which US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant said that now other relevant laws will be resorted to for tariffs.<\/p>\n<p><em>HRNW continues to provide reliable coverage of global political and economic developments.
