In the ensuing exchange of fire, one suspect was killed while his accomplices managed to escape.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"1118\">SSP Kemari Amjad Ahmed Sheikh identified the slain suspect as Saleh Muhammad alias \u201cSawali,\u201d an alleged associate of Lyari gang shooter and extortionist Jamil Jadgal. Police stated that the accused was wanted in multiple serious criminal cases, including murder, attempted murder, extortion, and an armed attack on a police officer. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from his possession.
