A new chapter has been written in the atmosphere of New York today \u2014 a chapter that is not just politics<\/strong>, but a Victory of\u00a0 Faith<\/strong>, Hard Work<\/strong> and Hope<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Yes \u2014 “Zohran Mamdani”<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014 the young Muslim, who has now been elected the new mayor of New York City.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the same city that has embraced immigrants for centuries \u2014 and now an “Muslim immigrant”<\/strong> has become its mayor!<\/p>\n

After Zohran Mamdani<\/strong> became the mayor of New York, the quest to know about him has become more intense among people. One of Mamdani\u2019s great identities is his Indian-origin mother, whom millions of moviegoers know very well.<\/p>\n

Zohran Mamdani does not belong to a wealthy political family, but to a home where “Knowledge, Art and Humanity”<\/strong> were the greatest wealth.<\/p>\n

He was born in Kampala, Uganda, and moved to New York with his parents when he was just seven years old. His father is Professor Mahmud Mamdani \u2014 a renowned Ugandan scholar, an expert in the social history of Africa and Asia. Zohran received his education from Bowdoin College (USA)<\/strong>. Here he studied politics, sociology and social justice. During his college days, he became active in the cause of Human Rights,<\/strong> Anti-racism and the rights of immigrants. He always says \u2014 \u201cI learned to listen to stories from my mother and to understand justice from my father.\u201d Zohran started his politics in the \u201cNew York State Assembly\u201d,<\/strong> where he did an unparalleled job on public service, housing issues, and the rights of the working class.<\/p>\n

Then gradually his recognition grew. People said \u2014 \u201cThis is not a politician, he is a son of the people.\u201d<\/strong> He made the voice of the common people his strength instead of the advertisements of big capitalists. This same sincerity, this same truth, brought him the mayor of New York today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the results were announced, the hall echoed with joy. Zohran Mamdani<\/strong> won with 56%<\/strong> of the vote. He is not only the youngest mayor of New York<\/strong> \u2014 but also “The First of South Asian Heritage”<\/strong> and “The First Mayor Born In Africa”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Zohran Mamdani<\/strong> gave his victory speech \u2014 it was not politics, but “A voice from the depths of the soul”.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI belong to a religion that teaches justice, love, and equality. I am a proud Muslim, and I promise that every citizen of New York<\/strong> will feel safe, respected, and equal.\u201d The entire hall stood, the young people chanted \u201cUnity<\/strong> and Justice<\/strong> for All.\u201d This was the moment when not just one person, but an entire community had won.<\/p>\n

Zohran Mamdani said:<\/strong> \u201cThis city does not belong to the rich or the powerful \u2014 it belongs to everyone. Whether you are Muslim or Jewish, black or white, we are all one \u2014 New Yorkers<\/strong>!\u201d<\/p>\n

His words were not just a speech, but a “PROMISE”<\/strong> \u2014 a promise of justice, peace, and equality. And finally, addressing US President Trump, who has been considered his staunch opponent from the beginning, Mamdani said, \u201cTrump, listen, New York is and will remain a city of immigrants.\u201d<\/p>\n
