The decision will apply to all mobile networks nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, calls to toll-free numbers were free only for fixed-line users, while mobile phone users were required to pay applicable charges. However, following detailed consultations with PTCL, the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC), and various cellular companies, PTA has decided to extend this facility to all mobile subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>According to the authority, the initiative aims to provide equal access to services without discrimination and to promote an efficient, transparent, and consumer-friendly telecommunications system in Pakistan.
