During a hearing on the federal government\u2019s proposed new tariff, Power Division officials briefed that current tariffs are misaligned and cross-subsidies among consumers need reduction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"648\">PPMC officials stated there are no plans to establish a thermal power station in the next 10 years but suggested setting fixed charges based on monthly electricity consumption.
