to Upgrade 300 Rabies Centers Across the Province"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Karachi (HRNW)-<\/strong>Under the chairmanship of <strong>Chief Secretary Sindh, Asif Haider Shah<\/strong>, a meeting was held regarding <strong>rabies control<\/strong>, attended by the <strong>Secretary Health<\/strong> and <strong>Project Director (PD) of the Rabies Control Program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It was decided that <strong>rabies treatment facilities will be available every 10 to 15 kilometers<\/strong> across the province, and <strong>all 300 rabies centers in Sindh will be upgraded and made fully operational<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah outlined the following measures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rabies centers will be equipped with <strong>rabies vaccines and trained staff<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Building audits of all rabies centers<\/strong> will be completed within 48 hours.<\/li>\n<li>After the audits, <strong>repairs, restoration, and modern equipment<\/strong> will be provided immediately.<\/li>\n<li>All <strong>essential medicines and vaccines<\/strong> for rabies patients will be procured.<\/li>\n<li>The existing staff will undergo <strong>training to make the Rabies Control Program more effective<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with <strong>Indus Hospital<\/strong>, medical staff will receive <strong>specialized training in rabies treatment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>province-wide awareness campaign<\/strong> will be launched on dog bites, rabies, and timely treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Chief Secretary emphasized that <strong>rabies is treatable, and timely medical intervention can save valuable lives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"pvc_clear\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"pvc_stats_8643\"
