Karachi (HRNW) \u2014 Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Munim Zafar<\/strong>, attended the funeral prayers of four members of the same family<\/strong> who lost their lives in the tragic Gul Plaza fire incident<\/strong>. He offered condolences to the bereaved family and expressed profound grief over the loss.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media, Munim Zafar said that the Gul Plaza tragedy is a glaring example of government incompetence and criminal negligence<\/strong>, where citizens watched helplessly as their loved ones perished in flames \u2014 and even now, many families await the remains of their relatives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Later, Munim Zafar visited various areas of Orangi Town<\/strong> and addressed public gatherings<\/strong> as part of preparations for the \u201cLet Karachi Live March\u201d (Jeenay Do Karachi March)<\/strong> scheduled for February 1 on Shahrah-e-Faisal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He stated that during the 18-year rule of the Pakistan Peoples Party<\/strong>, Karachi has turned into ruins<\/strong> \u2014 with broken roads, water and power shortages, children dying after falling into open manholes<\/strong>, and fatal accidents caused by reckless dump trucks<\/strong> depriving citizens of their basic right to live safely<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Munim Zafar further said that the people of Orangi Town are deprived of fundamental human rights<\/strong>, while the mayor\u2019s actions remain limited to statements only<\/strong>. He emphasized that the February 1 march is not for any single political party<\/strong>, but for every citizen<\/strong> demanding their rights, safety, and dignity<\/strong>. He appealed to the people of Karachi to actively participate in the historic march<\/strong> to reclaim their city\u2019s future.<\/p>\n
