Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW)-\u00a0During hearings on petitions filed against the Gul Plaza tragedy<\/strong>, the court has issued notices to the Sindh government, Commissioner Karachi, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), and other relevant parties<\/strong>. The court has directed the Commissioner Karachi to submit a detailed report by February 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Petitioners informed the court that Gul Plaza is one of Karachi\u2019s busiest commercial centers<\/strong>, where the tragic incident resulted in loss of human lives<\/strong>. Advocate Nadeem Sheikh<\/strong> requested that those responsible for the tragedy be identified and held accountable, while highlighting the failures of the relevant institutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The petition further demanded that the government assess the financial losses<\/strong> and provide compensation to the victims<\/strong>. Barrister Hassan<\/strong> urged the court to conduct a comprehensive inquiry<\/strong> and ensure effective legal action against the responsible parties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The court has adjourned the hearing until February 12<\/strong> and has sought responses to the notices<\/strong> from all concerned authorities.<\/p>\n
