Islamabad (HRNW) \u2013 Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his gratitude to overseas Pakistanis for sending record remittances in December 2025 compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said that in December 2025, patriotic overseas Pakistanis sent remittances worth $3.6 billion. He added that the 16.5 percent increase compared to last year reflects the strong confidence of overseas Pakistanis in the government\u2019s economic policies.<\/p>\n

Shehbaz Sharif said that rejecting negative propaganda and continuing to send remittances for the development and progress of the country is a clear reflection of overseas Pakistanis\u2019 love for their homeland.<\/p>\n

He further stated that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable national asset, and the entire nation, including himself, takes pride in them. He assured that the welfare and facilitation of overseas Pakistanis remain among the government\u2019s top priorities.<\/p>\n
