Faisalabad (HRNW)<\/a>\u2013<\/strong> A tragic boiler explosion<\/strong> at a factory in Faisalabad claimed the lives of 18 people<\/strong>, including women and children, while several others were critically injured. Rescue operations have been completed, with most of the victims\u2019 bodies recovered from nearby homes affected by the blast.<\/p>\n

Rescue Officer Ihtisham Wahla<\/strong> reported that 10 homes adjacent to the factory<\/strong> were damaged. Three bodies were retrieved from the factory itself, and three workers were transported to hospitals in critical condition. Additional bodies, including those of children and women, were recovered from debris in nearby houses, and around 10 injured were admitted to hospitals, some in serious condition. Authorities fear the death toll may rise.<\/p>\n

Teams from CNW, the Industries Department, and the Labour Department<\/strong> reached the site immediately. Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir<\/strong> confirmed that the explosion occurred in a 25-year-old factory located in a densely populated area with nearly 100 factories in the locality. A team has been dispatched to arrest the factory owner.<\/p>\n
