Islamabad\/Beijing (HRNW)- Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that a special security unit is being set up to ensure the security of Chinese citizens residing in Islamabad.<\/p>\n
According to a press release issued by the Interior Ministry, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said this during a meeting with Chinese Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong in Beijing. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security, where Mohsin Naqvi was warmly welcomed.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed in detail the Pakistan-China security cooperation, especially the joint strategy against terrorism. On this occasion, it was agreed to prepare a joint and rapid response mechanism against terrorism, while emphasis was also placed on expanding training programs to enhance the professional capabilities of the police force.<\/p>\n
Chinese Minister Wang Xiaohong, while appreciating Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism and measures to strengthen internal security, said that China values \u200b\u200bthe sacrifices made by Pakistan against terrorism.<\/p>\n
The meeting also expressed the determination that the two countries will continue to work together for peace and stability in the region by further promoting security cooperation.<\/p>\n
