Rawalpindi (HRNW)-\u00a0Chairman PTI, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, has criticized the notion of negotiations being conducted through a \u201cmeeting of five elders,\u201d saying such a method is ineffective and unnecessary. Speaking to the media at Dahgal Naka Adiala Road, he highlighted the lack of meetings with party founder Imran Khan for over a month and stressed that only a meeting with the founder, his sisters, and lawyers can normalize the situation.<\/p>\n
Barrister Gohar announced a shutter down and wheel jam strike across Pakistan on February 8 and urged that opposition leader notifications be issued in the National Assembly and Senate. He praised PTI workers for enduring hardships imposed by the state and emphasized that protests are a rightful part of the party\u2019s action plan.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Imran Khan\u2019s sisters, including Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi, and Uzma Khan, continued a sit-in at the Factory Naka near Adiala Jail, raising slogans and reciting the Quran despite police attempts to disperse them with water. Aleema Khan criticized the government for keeping the PTI founder in solitary confinement and highlighted the country\u2019s economic mismanagement.<\/p>\n
PTI workers have actively joined the sit-in, chanting slogans for freedom and raising their voices against oppression, while the authorities maintain tight security and blocked roads leading to Adiala Jail.<\/p>\n
