Karachi (HRNW)- MQM Pakistan leader Dr. Farooq Sattar took an important stand in a news conference regarding the expectations of the people for 2026 and the development of Karachi.<\/p>\n
Dr. Farooq Sattar said that in the year 2025, the party won the \u201cBattle of Truth\u201d, and May 10, 2025 will be remembered as an important milestone in history. He gave the credit for this success to the people along with Field Marshal Asim Munira and the government of Pakistan.<\/p>\n
He said that now the next big battle is the economy and the Field Marshal has resolved to increase the pace of construction and development. He made it clear that the survival and security of the country are linked to Karachi and to save Pakistan, Karachi must be saved first.<\/p>\n
Dr. Farooq Sattar said that despite the attitude towards Karachi, most of the city\u2019s taxes and exports are coming from Karachi. He announced that MQM Pakistan has launched a \u201cKarachi Bachao Campaign\u201d.<\/p>\n
Pointing to the problems of the youth, he said that due to dumpers, open sewers and lack of construction and development in the city, human lives are being lost. There are also problems in the education sector, such as complications in the results of MD CAT and board exams and the quota system, due to which it has become difficult for children to get admission.<\/p>\n
Dr. Farooq Sattar said that the MQM will hold meetings with stakeholders, traders, industrialists, other political parties and teachers of Karachi and all-party and departmental seminars will be organized after taking suggestions.<\/p>\n
He said that the MQM Pakistan will work only from Karachi, and this party is a representative party of the middle class. After the separation from the founder of the MQM, the party is sticking to its narrative and cannot comment on the narrative of any former colleague.<\/p>\n
Dr. Farooq Sattar said on the issue of Dr. Imran Farooq\u2019s martyrdom that an investigation was conducted between the two governments and the matter is safe with Pakistan and Scotland Yard. He said that he stands by the Constitution, Pakistan, the Pakistani Armed Forces and the policy of the state.<\/p>\n
