Karachi (HRNW)<\/a><\/strong>\u2014 Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) and Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET) organized a successful closing ceremony of 8th International Multi-topic ICT Conference (IMTIC) at the SSUET campus. This year\u2019s conference theme, \u201cAI Driven Innovations Across Disciplines for a Resilient and Sustainable ICT Infrastructure,\u201d attracted a diverse group of local and international research scholars. Chief Gust of the event was Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology.<\/p>\n

The conference featured keynote speakers including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Shakir from the University of the West of Scotland (UWS), Dr. Ali Hassan from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), and Dr. Atif Siddiqui from the UK, who shared their insights on cutting-edge technologies and research advancements.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing the importance of collaboration among academia and industry in advancing technology, Chancellor of SSUET, Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, said that the IMTIC conference serves as an essential platform for researchers and professionals to engage in discussions about emerging technologies and their potential for fostering a sustainable future. This initiative underscores the commitment of both Sir Syed University and Mehran University to enhance education and research in Pakistan. The IMTIC has gained significant international recognition, establishing a global presence. It emphasizes that science and technology can be harnessed for the betterment of society, and Sir Syed University\u2019s efforts in promoting research and innovation are truly commendable.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Afzal Haq, Vice Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), emphasized that the conference served as a valuable platform for meaningful knowledge exchange and highlighted cutting-edge advancements in technology. He remarked, \u201cThe discussions were productive, and we gained significant insights from the keynote sessions presented by distinguished research scholars.\u201d This event fosters intellectual growth and underscores the importance of collaboration. Prof. Dr. Bhawani Shankar Chowdhry, Chair of the IEEE Karachi Section, presented an overview of IMTIC ’25, emphasizing that the conference is a crucial catalyst for growth and development. He stated that collaboration has become essential rather than optional. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aamir, TPC Chair and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Computer Engineering, provided a technical perspective on the conference, highlighting the wide range of topics covered. He noted that it was an exceptional learning experience focused on reshaping automation processes. The conference aims to foster collaboration for the future, with long-standing partnerships paving the way for milestone achievements and excellence.<\/p>\n

Engr. Farooq Arabi, Chairman of the Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) Karachi, also addressed the audience, underscoring the significance of such conferences in promoting innovation and collaboration in the engineering and technology sectors.<\/p>\n

Registrar of SSUET, Cdre. (r) Syed Sarfraz Ali, presented a vote of thanks, emphasizing the conference’s goal of fostering a creative environment for research collaboration and knowledge transfer among international experts.<\/p>\n
