Karachi (HRNW)<\/a><\/strong>– The Wisdom Therapy Center, established at the Department of Public Administration of the University of Karachi, organized the inaugural session of its intellectual program \u201cHum Nashist\u201d at the department.<\/p>\n

The purpose \u201cHum Nashist\u201d was to transmit local wisdom, practical experiences, and life-learned insights to the younger generation. Instead of formal speeches, the program emphasized thoughtful dialogue, personal observations, and lived experiences, offering participants a meaningful opportunity for reflection and self-accountability.<\/p>\n

The chief guest of the ceremony, the former Vice Chancellor of Hamdard University and acting chairperson of the KU\u2019s Department of Public Administration Professor Dr Syed Shabib Ul Hasan highlighted the importance of self-awareness in human life. He noted that while this journey ideally begins in childhood with parents and teachers playing a pivotal role, it is not confined to any one stage of life.<\/p>\n

He mentioned that at any age, a person must know where they stand and what their life\u2019s purpose is. He remarked that success is not defined by a single day or destination, but is a continuous journey.<\/p>\n

He stressed that remaining committed to one\u2019s purpose and practicing perseverance are the true foundations of success. Its beauty is magnified when one has companions with whom to share joy. Speaking about the Department of Public Administration, he expressed that the institution holds a unique place in his life, where he has always received guidance and support at every stage.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the role of teachers, Dr Shabib Ul Hasan emphasized that teaching is the profession of the Prophets (Peace Be Upon Him) and is a highly dignified and sacred responsibility.<\/p>\n

He stated that if given the chance to return to 1999, he would once again choose this very field. According to him, the gathering lit lamps of hope and courage that will serve as guiding beacons for future generations.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the program, Professor Dr Syed Shabib Ul Hasan advised the youth to take pride in their traditions, values, and especially the Urdu language, making it an integral part of their identity.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, participants described the session as purposeful, thought-provoking, and inspiring, expressing the desire for such gatherings to continue so that local intellectual and moral heritage can be preserved and passed on to future generations.<\/p>\n

According to Dr Mustafa Hyder, the organizers of the KU\u2019s Wisdom Therapy Center, platforms like \u201cHum Nashist\u201d play a vital role in fostering serious dialogue, intellectual guidance, and the promotion of positive values in society. He mentioned that such sessions will continue to be held regularly in the future.<\/p>\n
