Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW)- <\/strong>Sajad Ali Somroo<\/strong>, Member of the Sindh Assembly<\/strong> from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf<\/strong>, addressed community leaders, presidents, general secretaries, and members<\/strong> of various communities in Lyari<\/strong> during a Hol Foundation program<\/strong>, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the rights of girls.<\/p>\n

He stated that \u201cOur daughters are our responsibility\u201d<\/strong>, warning against rushing into marriages<\/strong>, as it can sometimes ruin the lives of girls after marriage<\/strong>, leaving families helpless.<\/p>\n

Sajjad Ali Somroo highlighted that after the death of parents, the responsibility for sisters\u2019 rights falls on brothers<\/strong>, and it is their duty to ensure their daughters\u2019 and sisters\u2019 safety and well-being<\/strong>. He advised that when a marriage proposal comes for a girl, families should avoid hasty decisions<\/strong>, thoroughly check the prospective groom\u2019s background, social circle, and environment<\/strong>, to prevent any potential harm.<\/p>\n

He further reminded the community that in the eyes of Allah, accountability is not limited to prayers, fasting, and charity, but also includes protecting the rights of sisters, daughters, and wives<\/strong>. He urged community leaders, presidents, and secretaries to take their responsibilities seriously<\/strong> and actively ensure the protection of girls\u2019 rights<\/strong> within their communities.<\/p>\n
