Karachi\/Coastal (HRNW)<\/a><\/strong> – The Indian Navy has once again committed a serious violation of human rights and arrested 11 Pakistani fishermen, including a 10-year-old boy named Zaheer. Zaheer is a third-grade student who had gone fishing in the sea with his uncle as a hobby, but he had no idea that this trip would turn into a prison in the Indian Navy.<\/p>\n

According to sources, all the arrested fishermen were busy fishing in Pakistani waters when the Indian Navy suddenly took action and detained them. After the incident, chaos has erupted in the homes of the fishermen, while the family of the young boy Zaheer is suffering from severe mental anguish and anguish.<\/p>\n

Coastal Media Center and the coastal community strongly condemn this incident and strongly demand from international human rights organizations, the Chief Justice of Pakistan, the Chief of Army Staff and all relevant institutions related to maritime affairs in Pakistan to take immediate notice and ensure the immediate and unconditional release of all arrested Pakistani fishermen, including the minor, and to bring them safely back to their homeland.<\/p>\n

Coastal representatives say that the fishermen are not involved in any crime but go to sea for livelihood. Imprisoning innocent children and poor fishermen is a clear violation of international humanitarian laws and children’s rights, on which the silence of the international community is regrettable.<\/p>\n
