Karachi (HRNW)<\/a>–<\/strong> Kashmiri leader Mashal Malik has urged the state of Pakistan to take up the case of imprisoned Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik at the United Nations, stating that India is attempting to falsely implicate and \u201ccrucify\u201d him through fabricated charges.<\/p>\n

Addressing a press conference at the Pakistan Hindu Council office in Karachi, Mashal Malik said that Pakistan, the entire nation, and friendly countries share the responsibility of raising their voice for Yasin Malik\u2019s release. She announced the launch of a global campaign in this regard.<\/p>\n

Mashal Malik highlighted that people of all religions in Pakistan have shown unity, standing together in moments of difficulty. She said that when she appealed for prayers for her husband, people prayed not only in mosques but also in temples and churches. She emphasized that Yasin Malik\u2019s political struggle has always centered on peace, dialogue, and human rights\u2014even during the tense post-Pulwama situation.<\/p>\n

She added that Yasin Malik\u2019s movement goes beyond religion, race, and community, attracting support from Sikhs, Pandits, and other minorities. History, she said, acknowledges the vital role diverse communities played in the subcontinent\u2019s freedom movement.<\/p>\n

Mashal Malik announced that a digital referendum will soon be launched to show the world the real situation in occupied Kashmir and to highlight the true voice of the Kashmiri people. She said this is not just a campaign but a human struggle.<\/p>\n

She expressed gratitude to those involved in the \u201cSave Yasin Malik\u201d campaign but stressed the need to take this message to every household. A major public outreach drive is being prepared, including door-to-door awareness, university engagements, volunteer networks, digital campaigns, and enhanced global connections.<\/p>\n

A special website will also be launched where people can submit ideas, suggestions, and practical plans to strengthen the global movement. She said she has made every sacrifice possible, and now it is time for the people and the international community to act to save Yasin Malik\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Patron-in-Chief Ramesh Kumar said that the Kashmir issue has persisted for 78 years, and the struggle of Mashal Malik and Yasin Malik will not go in vain. He expressed hope that their efforts will one day open a bright chapter in the region\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
