PNS\/M Hangor successfully met the objectives of the firing exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of the Naval Staff <strong>Admiral Naveed Ashraf<\/strong> witnessed the live weapon firing at sea. He commended the submarine\u2019s combat capabilities and emphasised the importance of continuously enhancing underwater warfare capabilities to maintain operational readiness and a credible defence capability at sea.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Pakistan Navy, the successful live weapon firing marks an important milestone in PNS\/M Hangor\u2019s operational readiness and reflects the continued enhancement of Pakistan\u2019s underwater warfare capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan Navy said the successful firing reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a modern, technologically capable and fully prepared maritime force for the defence of Pakistan\u2019s maritime frontiers and the preservation of peace and stability in the region.<\/p>\n<h3>Human Angle<\/h3>\n<p>Strong maritime defence capabilities are also linked to the protection of Pakistan\u2019s coastal communities, maritime trade and vital sea routes.
