According to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)<\/strong>, the raided facility was generating an estimated daily revenue of around PKR 45 million<\/strong> through illicit cigarette production.<\/p>\n

FBR officials confirmed that the Chief Commissioner Peshawar<\/strong> and his enforcement team<\/strong> conducted the successful operation without yielding to any external pressure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Peshawar<\/strong> led the raid on a private company\u2019s cigarette factory<\/strong> in Mardan, which was allegedly running a secret, unregistered manufacturing plant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that the seized machinery<\/strong> had a daily production capacity of approximately 7,000 kilograms of tobacco<\/strong>. The unregistered machines<\/strong>, used specifically for illegal cigarette manufacturing, have been confiscated<\/strong>, and legal proceedings<\/strong> have begun.<\/p>\n

FBR added that such operations will play a vital role in curbing illegal tobacco production<\/strong> and ensuring compliance with tax and health regulations across Pakistan.<\/p>\n
