Tehran (HRNW):<\/strong> U.S. officials have reportedly said that Iran has resumed assembling ballistic missiles at underground facilities using components that were already in storage.<\/p>\n

According to The Wall Street Journal<\/em>, officials said Iran has continued assembling both liquid- and solid-fuel missiles despite attacks on missile sites and industrial facilities during the early stages of the war.<\/p>\n

Intelligence reports have reportedly identified activity at several underground locations, including the Khajir missile base in southeastern Iran. Officials said Iran is also seeking to build new underground facilities to protect its missile program from further attacks.<\/p>\n

U.S. and regional officials said Iran is currently relying on existing components to assemble missiles. The United States and Israel have reportedly damaged several key industrial facilities involved in producing missiles and their components, while blockades have made imports of solid-fuel ingredients and other parts increasingly difficult.<\/p>\n

According to Arab officials cited by the newspaper, damage to chemical facilities producing liquid fuel and industrial mixers used for solid-fuel production has also created significant obstacles to large-scale missile manufacturing.<\/p>\n

The report said the latest developments indicate that completely dismantling Iran\u2019s missile program could prove difficult.<\/p>\n

Satellite imagery has reportedly shown Iran rapidly rebuilding roads, bridges and production facilities, raising concerns among Israeli officials. According to Israeli military assessments cited in the report, weapons inside some underground facilities may have remained intact.<\/p>\n
